The Konavle valley is a fascinating region in the hinterland of Dubrovnik. Known for its traditional way of living, pure olive oil, green honey, sweet-smelling herbs and embroidery it is a real ethnographic and natural jewel of Croatia. Begin your day by attending the well-known folk dances in the village of Cilipi. The folklore performance shows the beautiful national costumes and thus all the richness of culture and tradition. Be sure not to miss out on the opportunity to stroll around the "open market" set up in the village. Lunch is served in the most attractive restaurant in the Dubrovnik region - Konavoski Dvori. Enjoy a typical meal in an unforgettable setting by the cascading Ljuta river. The day is rounded off with a visit to the home/gallery of Mijo Sisa Konavljanin - the only primitive painter in the region. Finally, to crown this eventful day we will make a stop at the Gray Falcon viewpoint, which offers an exquisite view over the whole area including the surrounding islands.

Folklore has always been an important aspect of traditional culture - it is a combination of all the phenomena in life, which are passed from one generation to another. Join us for a visit to the village of Cilipi and the traditional folk dances held every Sunday. Experience the richness in culture, folklore traditions and beautiful national costumes. Take a stroll among the many stands where the locals offer their home made products, visit the local Wine Cellar, attend Mass in the local church and finally enjoy the very attractive folk dances.

You start the ride from the small town of Gruda and immediately upon leaving it you will find yourself on non-trafficated village roads that will take you through orchards,corn fields,vineyards, blackberry bushes and peach groves. On the route are a couple of small rivers that will be crossed before stopping at a small beach to enjoy some fresh fruit. The historical Galleon is certainly the best stage for such a scenery. Durin this cruise you will see the three most beautiful islands of the Dubrovnik archipelago - Kolocep. The island of Korcula undoubtedly holds a privileged position among the Croatian islands. Here are perhaps even more legends, tales and monuments than anywhere else. Being famous stonemasons, shipbuilders and seafarers the people of Korcula left their marks all over the world, but they saved their best works for their own city. Experience the narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces in one of the best preserved Medieval towns in the Mediterranean.

It is believed that Our Lady appeared in front of a group of children in 1981. As a result of these apparitions, this simple village parish has become a place of gathering of a multitude of pilgrims from all over the world, and it is nowadays one of the biggest prayer centers. Innumerable witnesses say that they have found faith and peace here.

Some people say that Homer, while describing the enchanted island of Ogigia, Ulysses and the nymph Calypso, was actually referring to the island of Mljet. True or not - this island is a real paradise for all those who enjoy intact nature and absolute tranquility.
The main attractions of the island are the two saltwater lakes, surrounded by a lovely thick forest. In the charming village of Orašac take part in the production of olive oil in the old fashioned way, where the «mill» is driven by a horse. In the times of the Dubrovnik Republic, Ston was the second most important town. It’s wealth was derived from the salt works that are still in function today. Although being known for the spectacular city walls, that are considered to be the second longest in the world, today this region is predominantly known as the «oyster capital» of Croatia. Here you will be served a nice sea food platter (octopus, mussels, small fish and an oyster).
Finally we will pay a visit to one of the best known wine producers of the region. The Pelješac peninsula has for ages been known for it’s excellent wines. And the Miloš family wine cellar is today certainly one of the foremost representatives of this production. During the visit to the cellar a pleasant wine tasting will be organized.
