Mostar was built in the late 15th century and was the chief administrative city for Herzegovina Region in the Ottoman Empire.
Mostar is famous for the Stari Most (Old Bridge) in the very center of the city, which is an UNESCO heritage site and from which comes the name Mostar. Stari Most, a wonderful work of craftsmanship and architecture was the work of Mimar Sinan (Architect Sinan) the same man that built Selimiye Mosque in Edirne. One of the favourite Mostar attractions is the Old Bazaar Kujundžiluk where we find many artisans that sell their traditional hand made goods from their small shops on the side of the street. They sell everything from beautiful carpets, clothes and scarves to jewellery, pipes and nargiles along with marvellously designed copper items.
The most asked about thing in Mostar is the food which is prepared in authentic Bosnian feel. The wonderful meals from the grill served with a dairy product called Kajmak or specialty prepared vegetarian pies are something you can't find anywhere in the world.

Medugorje is a place of pilgrimage. Each year many religious souls come to Medjugorje and the Apparition Hill where the Virgin Mary first appeared. This excursion to the most famous pilgrimage place is the soul cure for the religious.
Medjugorje excursion is all about seeing people from all over the world, from all areas and walks of life to come together as strangers, and leave Medjugorje with a very special and unique bond of friendship, and love. Their spiritual lives renewed, refreshed, and rekindled as the fire of the Holy Spirit is burning bright deep inside of them.
Our Lady invites each person who goes to Medjugorje individually, and for a reason. Going to Medjugorje is a special calling, and a special gift that you also will share with God's blessing, and hopefully you will have a chance to do it all over again.
One of the essential activities in Medjugorje is the climb of the Apparition Hill (Podbrdo), with a chance to pray the Joyful, and Sorrowful mysteries of the rosary marked by beautiful bronze plaques. One of the stops on the ascend is a large wooden cross which marks the spot of the first message Our Lady gave to Marija. The message was: "Peace, Peace, Peace! Be reconciled! Only Peace. Make your peace with God among yourselves. For that, it is necessary to believe, to pray, to fast, and to go to confession."
After the climb to the Apparition Hill, the climb to the top of the Cross Mountain (Mt. Krizevac) is one of the unique experiences. It is a difficult climb for even the most healthier, and it is amazing to hear that virtually everyone who started the climb, no matter what their physical condition was, made it to the top. It is a welcome site to see a sky high Cross when you finally reach the top.
After a full and bonding day we will make our return to Dubrovnik feeling a more nobler and happier persons for the blessing we received by spending our time and visiting Medjugorje.
